- Students must have appeared for KCET/COMEDK/JEE or any other national level entrance exams for joining the professional courses
- Admission allocation is as follows: 45% of students through Karnataka common entrance test, 25% Management quota, and 30% through COMEDK.
- Students must have scored 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English
- The candidate beloning to SC/ST category must score a minimum of 40% of aggregate in 10+2 Exam
- The interested candidate must have cleared B.E /B.Tech with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks

- Admission allocation is as follows: 20% of students through PGCET/GATE and 80% through Management Quota
- The graduates with specialisation in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics, Mathematics, Business Statistics can apply for MCA

MSRIT offers 12 M.Tech programs across 8 departments. Graduates applying for M.Tech admission under the management quota should have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in B.E/B.Tech. They must have also appeared for either the PGCET or GATE exam.
For MCA admission, candidates need to fulfill specific eligibility criteria and should have cleared either KMAT or PGCET. As for MBA admission, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and should have cleared either PGCET, KMAT, CMAT, or MAT exams.
Seat allocation for M.Tech, MBA, and MCA courses is structured as follows: 20% of seats are reserved for the government quota, while the remaining 80% are filled under the management quota.
